We mourn the loss of our neighbors, Ann Marie and Wayne Cashman - a fellow LCV HOA board member, and pray for their daughter and granddaughters during this sad and shocking time.
"Due to the recent stretch of sub-zero and below normal freezing temperatures, insurance companies are seeing a dramatic increase in claims due to water damage as a result of frozen pipes and ice dam". NBT-Latremore Insurance agency has provided us with several attachments that are worthy of sharing with our LCV Community.
Thank you for your attention.
Just a quick note on the ice removal progress from this past weekend's ice storm. Hart's Lawncare has been working continuously on snow and ice removal since Saturday. All driveways and sidewalks were cleared as of Saturday night, prior to the freezing rain later that night. All day Sunday was again spent clearing driveways; Hart's was in our community until 2am Monday morning. Hart's has been chopping away at the ice since Monday. With the amount of freezing rain and snow that accumulated Sunday night, the greatest since 1998, the ice removal process has been slower than we hoped. The length of time is not a product of Hart's lack of dedication or hard work. Hart's has had to hand chop each sidewalk, which is quite a process with 326 sidewalks. To this point, all sidewalks in Phase 3 have been cleared and the majority of Phase 2 have been cleared. If you see Paul or his crew out chopping ice, please stop and say thank you. Your patience and understanding through the ice removal is greatly appreciated.

With so much going on throughout the holidays and so little going on in LCV, the board has decided to NOT have a December HOA meeting. Please enjoy the month with your neighbors, friends and families and come back next year for our January meeting.
Our holiday decorations are going up immediately following Thanksgiving. Please join us throughout the day Friday, November 29th, at the flagpole, to make Lake Country Village look festive for the season!
Winter is arriving and Hart's are back on duty for snow removal. They will be salting our sidewalks with a pet friendly material; please do not ask them to avoid your walkway as it is a safety issue and their contract requires them to do the salting village wide.
