Our Board members support LCV on a volunteer basis. Our committee involvement is extremely valuable and appreciated - the more people we have dedicated to helping the community, the better we are today and in the future.
Wonder what it is like to serve on the Board? How long a commitment must you make? How many hours a week or month are required? What duties might you be called upon to perform? With those questions and others in mind, we have put together a brief list with information that will hopefully address any initial questions you may have.
• All elected Board members serve 2 yr. terms, and may opt to run again once their commitment is up.
• Board business requires approximately a 3-5 hr. commitment each month, which can vary as issues/changes arise.
• Patience and open-mindedness are important qualities as we deal with homeowners questions, concerns and complaints.
• Good organizational skills are important, as is the ability to respond to homeowner questions in a reasonable time frame.
• Members are expected to attend all Board Meetings, generally the 3rd Tuesday of each month, and one mid-month work sessions.
• Members are asked to serve as a 'Board Liason' to one of our HOA committees.
